Given that Judge Evans' management of this trial has moved everything as slowly as molasses in January, it's not surprising she can't get anyone to transcribe 4 relatively short testimonies until next Thursday. If so, she should have warned the jury to take detailed notes as they won't have access to any transcripts from this very lengthy trial. What a joke.

Judge just dismissed the jury due to Bob being sick and Evans not able to answer a jury question.  Sounds consistent with Fonda-breaks.  Archaic court, couldn't they put him on closed circuit tv to have questions read if need be?

On the other hand, maybe a delay in deliberations will give the transcriber more time to get the requested transcripts.

In this situation, earlier, it seemed the attorneys were arguing whether his presence was necessary if the jurors had questions. Defense arguing for his physical appearance; prosecutor arguing judge could answer regardless. Evans ruled he must be present.

IMHO, this is not a case of Evans wanting breaks, but yet another sad attempt on the part of the defense to manipulate/control the jury.  And I hope to God the jury sees through these pathetic shenanigans!

If it continues tomorrow, why I surely hope Lindsey can find some case law to back the prosecution up.

Time to focus back on how many days PsychoBlob has delayed his trial... Three sick days and counting.

Probably is just a delay tactic,  but more likely to just annoy the jury who by now has got BB's number as a manipulative liar.   So much for him looking forward to his day of vindication, what with all his delays.  

If they can hold entire hearings by closed circuit tv, why not airing a jury question?   Seems archaic ....

If the jury could not take notes and they do not have a transcript how the hell did they come up with the terms "vitriolic" and "exculpatory" for which none of them knew the meaning ? Wrote it on their sleeve ? A mystery to me, just like his illnesses, a sorry attempt to evoke some sympathy or just impose his obnoxious self as usual ? A NORMAL person would have wore a patch on the eye which had "surgery". I doubt they operate on both eyes. But sunglasses make him look like a blind person and a patch would have made him look like a pirate. His slime just oozes over everything he touches and everything he comes near to. Unbelievable !

So from the reports I read, he was there in court this morning and went "home" sick ? Anyone there observe him wreathing in pain or vomiting ? Or he just doesn't like Mondays ?

In all the movies prisoners try to get sent to the hospital or infirmary where they escape or attempt to escape. Hoping he tries to make a run. Do you honestly believe that Lilian Diallo does not know what's going on or what mysterious ailment has manifested itself in this scumbag ? The continuity of the procedure and trial is being compromised. This jury is sitting at home and not watching TV not speaking to family or friends or other jury members about this trial or BB... Does anyone believe they are doing this ? Defense is probably hoping for a mistrial because they know the government cannot afford to do this again. Lisa Lindsay and her team must be ready to explode.

Since the trial will resume tomorrow, it is now "next Thursday". What's your guess on whether or not the transcriber was even told to prepare the four testimonies?

Imo, Judge Evans' poor court management extends to not bothering to order the requested transcripts.  

With this most recent stoppage, the message to the jury is "Don't ask any more questions or this trial will go on and on."

Sounds like Bashara's mommy really is done with him, not even inquiring why her son is hospitalized, from the Free Press.

As for why he was hospitalized, no one will say. Not his lawyers or the sheriff's office. His mother, Nancy Bashara, said she doesn't know."I have no idea why he wasn't in court," Nancy Bashara said in a phone conversation today, declining further comment.

I'm glad they're taking their job seriously. We all know he's guilty, but the responsibility to convict is on them. If you've ever served on a jury you'd know how they feel, it's not easy. Keep the faith, they'll figure it out.

I have ,in fact, served on 4 juries. So much room for errors in judgment....and raised voices is not a good sign.
